University Band Update: 9/9 - 9/13
UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL: University @ Wekiva (9/12)

Students should have their "Enigma" or UHS Senior band shirt and lightweight shorts along with black socks and their
band shoes on Friday.
Remember to pack these items on Friday morning as students will not be permitted to leave campus.
REHEARSE-A-THON SATURDAY – 9/13 (12pm-6pm)
Our Saturday Rehearse-a-Thon will be this Saturday from 12pm-6pm.
Students should eat lunch before rehearsal begins.
Bring water and snacks to get through the day.
This required date has been scheduled since April 2008. Attendance is mandatory.
BAND PICTURES: WED (9/10) & THURS (9/11)
Band pictures will be taken during band classes on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
FINANCIAL COMMITMENTS
Friday is the second $100 Band Assessment due date. (The first $100 was due on August 15).
Thank you for keeping up with the band assessments.
Those students who have not made payments, have not participated in a fundraising project,
and whose parents have not contacted Mr. Obado about band assessments will be
unable to perform with the group beginning this week.
While finances should not deter a student from participating in the band program,
there are financial responsibilities that come with band.
If a student is having trouble covering the band assessments,
it is the responsibility of the student's parents to contact Mr. Obado or Mr. Steff.
We ALWAYS work with EVERY situation. Please communicate!

Thanks so much for the parents that have been volunteering.
We love seeing new faces and appreciate any time that you may have.
We can't succeed without the help from parents and other volunteers.
