University Band Update: 9/15 - 9/20
NO FOOTBALL ON FRIDAY
Go home on Friday! Spend time with family! Spend time with friends! Get some sleep!
Study and do homework! (Practice for all-state). The next two weeks are busy, so enjoy the time off!
ALL-STATE AUDITIONS SATURDAY (9/20)
All-State auditions will be at Ocoee High School. The assigned times are posted in the main campus band room.
Remember to practice all 12 major scales as well as your chromatic scale.
Plan on saving 45min for the drive to Ocoee and around 35-40min to register and find your room.

SEMINOLE SOUND COMPETITION NEXT WEEK (9/27)
The Seminole Sound Marching Competition will be next Saturday.
Please be aware that the entire day needs to be reserved for this competition.
We have a short practice in the morning and everyone brings in their favorite dishes for a “pot-luck” lunch before leaving.
We typically perform in the evening and arrive back at University around midnight.
Students should bring money for a “concessions-style” dinner at the competition.
More information will be posted next week.
