University Band Update: 9/30 - 10/5
CONGRATS UNIVERSITY BAND @ SEMINOLE SOUND
Congratulations for earning a 70.8 and third place in the Platinum Division at the
Seminole Sound Marching Band Invitational this past Saturday.
The Seminole Sound show is consistently regarded as one of the finest adjudicated and attended competitions in Florida.
Kudos to fine performance at such a challenging venue!

Students are to wear a University Shirt or Senior Band shirts to school on Friday.
(We will wear our “Enigma” shirts on Saturday for the competition).
Students are not to leave campus on Friday.
Students can pre-order a Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwich on Thursday for $3 (sandwich, chips, drink).
Sandwiches will be available after school on Friday.

Students are to bring an assigned pot-luck dish to rehearsal for lunch as well as money
for a concessions-style dinner ($10 would be more than enough).
Students are instructed to call home as we approach UHS.
Please remember that we have to put equipment away as soon as we arrive.
The more parents that help with equipment, the sooner students can go home!
POT-LUCK LUNCH ITEMS FOR TIMBER CREEK
To ensure that all students eat a good meal on competition days, we have a pot-luck style lunch.
To make this a success, we need all students to participate in brining in their favorite dishes.

CHEESECAKE DELIVERY: WED 10/1
Students may pick-up their cheesecake orders after school on Wednesday October 1 in the
Freshman Campus Band Room until after sectional rehearsals get out.
We will have your original order forms with your order for you to help in delivery.
We do not have freezer space to keep your cheesecakes – PLEASE remember to get your cheesecakes on Wednesday!
ENJOY THE CITY FUNDRAISER BEGINS ON TUESDAY 9/30
We will be selling “Enjoy the City” Coupon books beginning on Tuesday, September 30.
Students will be able to check out ONE book and can pre-order books for sale.
The cost of the books is $20 and there is a 50% Profit line towards student ledgers.
