University Band Update: 10/6 - 10/10
CONGRATS UNIVERSITY BAND @ TIMBER CREEK MARCHING ARTS
Congratulations for earning a 70.25, third place in the 4A Field Show Division,
second place in the Percussion Standstill Competition, and 1st Place Guard in the 4A Division
at the Timber Creek Marching Arts Invitational this past Saturday.
The Cougar Band and Guard performed very well and made us all proud!

Students are to wear their Enigma Band Shirts to school on Friday.
Students are not to leave campus on Friday.
Students can pre-order a Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwich on Thursday for $3 (sandwich, chips, drink).
Sandwiches will be available after school on Friday.
UNIVERSITY CLASSIC MEETING ON WEDNESDAY (7:30PM)
We will have an organizational meeting after rehearsal beginning at 7:30pm in the chorus room.
All committee chairs are required to be at the meeting.
All parents are invited to the meeting and are encouraged to help us for our big event.
We have 20 bands coming to our competition!
This makes us one of the largest regional competitions in the state!
Because the homecoming dance is scheduled at the same time, we need all parents to chip in and help!
Please plan on coming to the meeting to see how you can help!
ADJUSTED BAND REHEARSALS THIS WEEK
We will have marching band rehearsals on Tuesday (5:15-8:15) and Wednesday (4:15-7:15) this week
due to the Chorus Fall Concert on Thursday at 7pm.
Please come out and support the fantastic chorus program by attending the concert on Thursday!
There are a number of band and guard kids that are involved in the chorus program.
INDOOR DRUMLINE INFORMATIONAL MEETING THURSDAY (5:15-6:45)
There will be an informational meeting on Thursday from 5:15-6:45.
The meeting will go over costs, fundraising, schedule, rehearsal schedules, auditions, and other pertinent information.
Everyone is invited to find out about this ensemble – the ensemble is NOT limited to percussionists.
ENJOY THE CITY FUNDRAISER CONTINUES
Students should be selling Enjoy the City Books this month.
Students will be able to check out ONE book and can pre-order books for sale.
The cost of the books is $20 and there is a 50% profit line towards student ledgers.
Students must turn in their order with the money to receive books.
The last day to turn in orders is Tuesday, October 21.
