University Band Update: 10/13 - 10/17

UNIVERSITY BAND FALL CONCERT - TUESDAY 10/14
Our Fall Concert will be held at 7:00pm in the PAC on Tuesday, October 14th. All Band students will be performing and we expect color guard students to come and support the band concert. Students are to wear a solid black top, solid black pants or skirt, black shoes, and black socks. Percussion Ensemble call time is TBA and the rest of the band needs to be seated with their music and instrument at 6:45pm. Parents, please come and support your children by attending the concert. Tell all of your friends and neighbors! The concert is free and open to the public!

UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL VS. BOONE (10/17)

ADJUSTED BAND REHEARSALS THIS WEEK
Because of the Fall Band Concert and the need to learn the closer this week, rehearsals will be on Wednesday (4:15-7:15) and Thursday (5:15-8:15).

ENJOY THE CITY FUNDRAISER CONTINUES
Students should be selling Enjoy the City Books this month. Students will be able to check out ONE book and can pre-order books for sale. The cost of the books is $20 and there is a 50% profit line towards student ledgers. Students must turn in their order with the money to receive books. The last day to turn in orders is Tuesday, October 22.

CANDY BAR SALES
Students can earn easy money towards their band ledgers by selling boxes of chocolate. Candy bars are $1 and sell extremely well. Students receive 50% profit. Candy checkout begins on Tuesday, Oct 14th.
