University Band Announcements: 2/16 - 2/21

Pre-MPA Concert @ Colonial HS (2/17)
The Freshman Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble will be performing at their annual Pre-MPA Concert at Colonial on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17! Students should bring $3 for Chick-Fil-A by Tuesday morning for dinner prior to leaving. This is a relaxed concert -- students will wear their school attire during the concert.

Congratulations Winter Guards & Indoor Drumline!
• University "A": 5th Place with a score of 55.0 in Class AAA at Colonial Show
• University "Open": 3rd Place with a score of 68.3 in Scholastic Open Class at Colonial Show
• University Percussion Syndicate: 2nd Place with a score of 79.7 in Scholastic Marching A at Seminole Show
• Please come out and support the Winter Guard and Indoor Drumline Program at Hagerty High School this Saturday, February 21. University "A" performs at 3:07pm and University Percussion Syndicate performs at 4:41pm.

Financial Matters...
• The February Spring Band Assessment of $50 WILL BE WAIVED if
(1) the rest of the fall band assessments have been paid or
(2) $100 or balance of the fall band assessments have been paid by February 20, 2009.
• If the $50 Spring Band assessment has been paid, student accounts will be credited that $50. Refunds will only be issued if band assessments have been paid by cash. Students will not be refunded any assessments paid by fundraising.
• Students that do not pay the balance of their fall assessments or contribute $100 of their fall assessments will not receive the $50 Spring Band Discount and will be turned into school obligation.

District MPA is on Saturday, March 7
Please put Saturday, March 7th on your calendar for the District 8 Concert Band MPA at Ocoee High School. We will leave UHS at approximately 7:30am and return at approximately 4:00pm. More information to come!
