University High School Band Announcements (4.19.09)
Congratulations Indoor Percussion at WGI World Championships
•
University Percussion Syndicate: 4th Place at the WGI World Championships with a score of 92.975 in Scholastic A.
•
This is a HUGE accomplishment as our very own University High School Indoor Percussion finished their season as
4th in the world this weekend.
Congratulations to Mr. Steff, staff, and the students of the University Percussion Syndicate as they are the
FFCC State Champions and 4th Place at the World Championships this season.
Wind Ensemble at State MPA this Wednesday, April 22
•
Additional Rehearsals this week.
•
Monday rehearsal extension until 5:30pm
•
Tuesday rehearsal extension until 5:30pm
•
State MPA @ the University of Florida/April 22, 6:20pm/University Auditorium
•
Wind Ensemble will need money for dinner and $20 for bus transportation to Gainesville
•
Departure will be 1:30pm and arrival back from UF will be approximately 11:00pm.
•
Permission slips will be ready for teacher signatures prior to 1st period on Monday, April 20.
Please pick them up before 1st period from the band room.
