10/5 -- Symphonic Band after school rehearsal -- 3:30pm-5:00pm
10/5 -- UHS Classic Band Parent Meeting 7:00pm-8:00pm

10/6 - Rehearsal 3:00pm-6:00pm. This is a change to accommodate Open House
10/6 - UHS Open House 6:30-8:00. Parents go talk to the teachers and hear how great your students are!

10/7 - Sectionals 4:00pm-6:00pm - Brass & Percussion

10/8 -- Rehearsal 5:00pm-8:00pm

10/9 -- Away Game at Colonial. Report time 5:00pm. We should be back and dismiss from UHS by 10:45pm

10/10 - Durant West Coast Invitational Show Itinerary
Saturday October 10, 2009
9:00am -- Rehearsal @ UHS
12:00pm -- Load Truck & Dismiss
** You are free to go home and shower, eat a big lunch, rest, and get everything you need together.
1:30pm -- Report/ Get Uniform
2:00pm -- Set in band Room
2:15pm -- Load Buses and Depart
4:15pm -- Arrive Durant HS
4:30pm -- Go Watch Bands/ Eat @ Concessions Stand/ Operations & Percussion Unload the Truck
5:30pm -- Report back to Bus/Get Dressed in Half Uniform
6:15pm -- Stretch/ Visual Warm-up
7:00pm -- Lined Up and Set, Ready to go to warm-up
7:15pm -- Music Warm-up
7:50pm -- Move to holding area
8:00pm -- PERFORMANCE
8:15pm -- Load Truck
9:15pm -- Durant HS Exhibition Performance
9:30pm -- Retreat/Awards
10:15pm -- Load Bus & Depart
12:00am -- Arrive UHS & Unload Truck
12:20am -- Dismissed

You will need to make sure to bring your black socks and black marching band shoes with you at the 1:45pm report time. Also bring money for the concession stand at Durant. There will be a small window of opportunity after we load the truck after our performance to be able to get something to eat before the retreat begins. Please remember that uniform food rules will apply. No condiments, No Cheese, No Nachos, Only Clear Liquids.

During the break between 12:30pm and 1:45pm , if you are unable to go home, you may stay here at the band room. The gym shower facilities will be opened from 12:30pm-1:30pm. You will still be responsible for supplying your own lunch. Please remember to bring your own shower supplies with you.

10/12 -- Symphonic Band after school rehearsal -- 3:30pm-5:00pm

10/13 -- BAND CONCERT: This concert includes everyone in Marching Band as well! This concert will feature performances by Jazz 2, Jazz 1, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and the 2009 Marching Band! Report times and Run-Through Rehearsals are:
5:00pm-5:45pm -- Symphonic Band
5:45pm-6:30pm -- Wind Ensemble
6:30pm -- Report time for Everyone Else in Jazz Bands and Marching Band that is not already here!

10/14 -- Band Rehearsal 4:00pm-7:00pm, This is a Wednesday Rehearsal!

10/15 -- Away Football Game at Boone HS. Report time 5:00pm

10/16 -- No School, enjoy a well deserved 3 day weekend!
