The UHS Band program hosted our annual FFCC Color Guard / Winds / Percussion Regional this Saturday, welcoming performing groups from 55 different schools for a full day of exciting and artistic performances. Visitors and adjudicators complimented our team on how smoothly and efficiently the day ran, thanks to the hard work and accommodation of our students and parents. To top it off, our own University Winter Guard moved up to third place!

Congratulations to the University Winter Guard on a successful first performance at the Florida Federation of Color Guards Circuit (FFCC) National Class Premiere at Flagler Palm Coast High School this Saturday! Join us for our next performance at our home show on February 14!

Senior Kevin Rosales and junior Isabella Rodriguez auditioned into the 2026 FMEA All State Symphonic Band, with a week of rehearsals culminating in a fantastic concert at the Tampa Convention Center this weekend. Congratulations to both of these outstanding young musicians!

University High School Principal Thomas Ott arranged for a special ceremony to honor the marching band's achievements this year. He gave each student a certificate of recognition and offered remarks about the importance of their accomplishments as a testament to the students' hard work and dedication.

After an emotionally charged finals performance, the University Band was named the Class 5A Champion at the 2025 FFCC State Championships. It was a dramatic come-from-behind win for our show "Air," which placed third overall with a school-record score of 93.450.
